Introduction

E - Portfolio   ----- is a creative means of organizing, summarizing, and sharing artifacts, information and ideas about teaching and of learning along with personal and professional growth.  Its reflective process can be as important as the final product. A portfolio is a sampling of the breath and depth of a persons work conveying the range of abilities, attitudes, experiences and achievements.

Measures of Central Tendency/Location

The first reporter was Mr. Richard Agapay with the topic Measures of Central Tendency/Location. He explained well the uses of mean, median and mode which are quite familiar to us since it was already discussed during our college days. Richard was so well-versed with his report coupled with his expertise in using microsoft excel. He's remarkably good.

Measures of Variability

Melvin reported Measures of Variability to us. Being a Mathematics teacher, it's quite easy for him explaining the different types of Absolute and Relative Variability. He gave different examples related to the problem plus the ordered illustrations in deriving the solutions. For me, he's report was excellent. I learned from him.

His report is presented in this link. Measure of Variability

Simple Linear Regression

Mam  De los Reyes showed us how to compute and derived the answers using the manual or the traditional way and the modern one using the excel. She started with a prayer and followed by an ice breaker. She provided everything. Though slowly but surely. . I appreciated her so much because she really exerted effort especially using excel. At least she can say....... Its not yet too late to learn....

 Her report was linked below....

Simple Linear Regression

Normal Probability Distribution

I was attentive listening to the reporter because she"s beautiful. ... She discusses the Characteristics of the Normal Curve, Areas under the Normal Curve,Application of the Normal Curve and the Divergence from normality which includes the Kurtosis and Skewness. She filled our  stomach with burger which made us alive, alert and kicking despite the difficulty of the subject matter. She presented well her report especially the animation of the power point....

Linked below was her presentation........

Normal Probability Distribution

Statistical Estimation and Sampling Theory

Though not quite ready but she able  to deliver and presented her report about Population Sample, Sampling Methods, and Sampling Distribution. She made it. I learned something which are useful in the conduct of my thesis soon.

Her report was linked below......

Statistical Estimation and Sampling

Statistical Inference

From her report, my mind was open and was able to define Statistical inference, Hypotheses, distinguished Directional and Non Directional test and was able to knew the steps in Hypotheses testing. I learned a lot from her. She clearly discussed the topic.  Congratulations Mam Tess.....

T- test and Z- test

Another reporter that seemed not so good in mathematics but did her best was Mam Laride. She really made it. Through her, I learned what are the uses  of T- test and the significance of Z- test and its application. An amazing discovery that are of great help for my thesis soon since most of the thesis and research today are using these statistical tool. Mam Mary, You"ve made it.

One Way Analysis of Variance

Mam Shiela reported  F -test , Analysis of variance, Its Procedure in Solving One Way Analysis of Variance, Deviation and Raw Score Method. This topic are new to me. I never encountered these during my college days. Here I realized that this summer is really an unforgettable moment of my stay in the Graduate School. I acquired new learning through the reporters also with our professor.

See this link: One Way Analysis of Variance

Factorial Analysis of Variance

If  I rate Mam Chellyn, she did excellent. She did her best in imparting to us her report. Her powerpoint presentation was so colorful and full of animation. She never find it hard since she was a mathematics teacher. She answered well all the questions thrown to her. Another unforgettable learning of mine . Mam Dalut congratulations......

Data Analysis and its Interpretation

Frankly speaking, I really find it hard. I almost had sleepless nights studying, reading and even interpreting my reports. I texted some co-teachers of mine and friends who are major in Mathematics just to teach me.

This topic was an interesting topic. A big challenge to me because I am teaching History. A head-cracking subject but after I reported I realized and thank the Lord for this subject. I really learned a lot. We really owe this to Professor Ava.

My report is all about the Data Analysis and Its Interpretation which is linked below...
